What is Sidegra used for?

Sidegra helps people with ED get and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated. Its active ingredient, sildenafil, supports blood flow to the penis. It does not increase testosterone or directly treat low sexual desire. At Kauri, we also consider whether circulation, diabetes, stress, medicines or hormone concerns contribute to your symptoms.

Sidegra 50 mg or 100 mg: what changes?

The difference is the amount of sildenafil in each tablet. A higher strength is not automatically a better starting choice and may increase side effects. The doctor considers your response, health and other medicines. The 4-tablet pack describes what you purchase; it is not an instruction to take multiple tablets together.

When does Sidegra work, and how long does it last?

Sildenafil is commonly used about 1 hour before sex, with a useful response window of several hours. A large or high-fat meal can delay the onset. Sexual stimulation remains necessary, and individual response varies. Follow the timing on your prescription rather than taking another tablet because the first has not acted immediately.

Sidegra versus Viagra: is one stronger?

Both products contain sildenafil. At the same prescribed dose, the brand name alone does not establish that one works faster or produces a better erection. Your experience, tolerability, price and preference help guide the choice. Kauri offers both Sidegra 100 mg and Viagra 100 mg, so you can compare the same active ingredient and strength.

Side effects: what should I know?

ED tablets are well tolerated by many patients. Headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion and dizziness can occur. Sildenafil may cause temporary visual changes; tadalafil may cause back or muscle aches. Tell Kauri about troublesome effects so your treatment can be reviewed.

Who needs a medication review first?

Never combine these medicines with nitrates, poppers or riociguat. Tell your physician about heart symptoms, low blood pressure, kidney or liver conditions, eye problems and all other medicines, including alpha-blockers. Do not combine ED tablets yourself. Seek urgent care for an erection lasting 4 hours or longer, sudden vision or hearing loss, or chest pain; tell the treating team what you took and when. Do not self-administer nitrates after an ED medicine.
